Printing signage for up-close viewing can be created at 540 x 1,080dpi with a print speed of 128sq. ft./h (11.9m2/h). Having only one head helps prevent against alignment errors when setting the heads. A symmetric ink arrangement (MCYKKYCM) and newly developed 16 bit rendering function of the standard RIP, allows for enhanced print quality. In addition to pre-print heaters, a post heater has been added to increase drying time of ink on media, allowing for faster uptake of the printed media.
