Cenospheres are lightweight, inert, hollow spheres, a natural by-product of coal combustion during the generation of electric power. They are also referred to as microspheres, hollow spheres, hollow ceramic microspheres, microballoons, or glass beads.
CHEMICAL FORMULA:
SiO2: 50-60%; Al2O3: 25-35%; Fe2O3: 1,5-2,5%; CaO: 0,1-1,5%; MgO: 0,1-1,5%; K2O: 0,2-2,9%; Na2O: 0,3-1,5%.
