The high density PBO layer enables the roller to work continuously under temperature of 5500C, and at the same time to stand the abrasion from different shapes of the profile. For those not dense enough rollers, since the conjunction between PBO fiber and the kevlar fiber underneath is not strong enough, the exposed PBO layer is liable of wearing off quickly under constant abrasion, and once the PBO layer is over, the kevlar layer is not lasting for more than 15 days.
