Collagen is the primary structural protein found in the connective tissues in the body (including the skin, bones, cartilage, tendons, and ligaments), and commercially it is derived from either fish (marine sources), beef (bovine sources), or pig (porcine sources). It is rich in protein (>90%) and contains 18 kinds of amino acid required by human. The collagen is of high nutritional value, high solubility, easy to digest and absorb. If applied on skin, it will promote skin hydration, activate deep repair of skin and help to block harmful UV light. Collagen can be used in cosmetic, foods and medical products.
