GRONIMTM - The Neem Biocide
GRONIMTM is a neem (Azadirachtin) based botanical insecticide, produced by Neem Biocide Plant, a unit of Mother Dairy Fruit & Vegetable Private Ltd. The Neem Biocide Plant is located at Anand, Gujarat (India), where Azadirachtin alongwith other triterpenoids is extracted from neem seed kernels. The Azadirachtin 10% extract concentrate so produced is used to manufacture Azadirachtin based emulsifiable concentrate (formulation) in different concentrations. The capacity of the plant is to produce 7500 kg of Azadirachtin 10% Extract concentrate (technical) or its equivalent Azadirachtin based emulsifiable concentrates (formulations) in different concentrations, annually.

GRONIMTM is manufactured from the fruits of the neem tree. Neem tree is native of the Indian subcontinent which is evident from its botanical name, Azadirachta indica, that has been derived from the word ‘Azad darakht-e-Hind’ meaning the ‘Free tree of India’. Anti-feedent - Insect pests which feed over GRONIMTM treated crops suffer from choking of their pharynx where they are unable to feed any further, and starve. Though, this does not exhibit instant knock-down of pests but controls the crop damage immediately.
Insect growth disruptant - GRONIMTM can disrupt insect growth at every stage of it’s life cycle. o Retards laying, development and hatching of eggs
o Inhibits moulting of larvae and transformation to pupae
o Results in emergence of malformed adults from pupae, that are unable to breed further
Thereby, GRONIMTM can prevent the resurgence of insect pests and leads to a significant reduction in pest population in successive generations.
Repellent - The characteristic odour of neem bitters present in GRONIMTM keep many pests away
