Tropical Ocean Products Ltd employs more
than 250 workers. 90 percent of the
workers are based in the Ontong Java
Lagoon of Solomon Islands, where
collected fresh beach de mers are cleaned
(eviscerated materials thrown back into
the
sea). These undergo the drying process
through hot air chambers and finally out in
the sun to dry. We have a team of well
trained and experienced personnels who
ensures good quality products, by
thoroughly monitoring the moisture
content, odour, colouration, size and
appearance of beach de mer.
Another marketing team also buys beach
de mers from surrounding islands and as
well as promoting beach de mer breeding
at our islands sea fronts.
The administration team here in Honiara
ensures that these products are shipped to
Honiara from the islands to be packaged
properly before exporting. In the past,
small chinese businessmen always buys
from the locals.
The company believes in quality products
from the tropical blue ocean for export.
We are regularly Selling: amber fish, ripple fish, chalk fish, white teat fish, surf red fish, tiger fish, prickly fish, green fish, peanut fish.
We are regularly Buying: sharks fins, dried beach de mers, trochus. |
