The promoters were carrying on their activities under P & R Agro farms who were pioneers in helping many farmers and agro entrepreneurs to grow a variety of high value medicinal and aromatic plants to earn substantial income from farming.
Further, they were:
· Cultivation medicinal and aromatic plants.
· Providing consultancy in cultivating high value medicinal plants with buy back facility in Stevia, Coleus, Ashwa Gandha, Amla, Annato, Jatropha and around 236 types of herbals and medicinal plants.
· Key mediator in bringing medicinal plant under the purview of loans, subsidy and insurance. P & R has identified about 353 herbs, which are economically viable for India, Srilanka, Bangladesh climatic and geological conditions. P and R Herbals have pioneered development of Stevia varieties, agronomy and processing for India conditions.
