The Northern Volta Cassava Processors’ Association is a legally recognized association located in rural commune of Nkwanta in the Volta Region of Ghana, with some 1,120 members, the vast majority of whom are women. The members process cassava and produce Gari, Cassava Flour, Animal Feed and Cassava Chips. NOVOCAP sells its products in Ghana and abroad currently through middle women and men and working to becoming the leader in the industry. With demand of high quality Gari and high quality flour on the rise, NOVOCAP is well positioned to meet this demand and increase income.
The Association is open to members (groups & individuals) who aspire to abide by the principles and policies of the programme especially to increase income. It is currently operating in the Nkwanta South District and is being extended to the Nkwanta North District). The following are the conditions to become a member of the Association:
