Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange was established with a view: to improve the mechanism of government regulation in the field of domestic and foreign trade; to develop formal wholesale market; to provide equal access to the market; to give additional economic impetus to the agents of the market.
Main objectives and functions of the Exchange’s activities: creation of the most transparent system of bargaining on the principles of free pricing and auction according to the established rules; exchange transactions registration; determination of demand and supply; quoting and its publication; study of factors that influence the Exchange’s price movement; creation of the Exchange’s infrastructure.
