Baotou Aluminium (Group) Co., Ltd. can produce 20000 tons of high purity aluminum ingots Al99.99% to Al99.996% annually by segregation process imported from Pechiney S.A., France. Besides the domestic market, the products are well sold in Japan, Germany and other countries.
Advantages of segregation process are low energy consumption, low cost and environmental satisfaction. As the company uses the particular raw material and technology, the contents of Fe, Cu, Mg in the products are much lower than those produced by three-layer-liquid electrolytic process. High purity aluminium is widely used in electronic aluminum foil, aviatic and spaceflighting material, superconductor, optical illuminating material and so on.
