GTP was established in 2006 and is run by the German owners themselves.
It is a small company which employs round about 30 workers, quality related laboratory assistants and office clerks.
Despite this small amount of employees GTP is the fourth biggest employer in Kubrat where the production site is situated and where the unemployment rate is nearly 30%.
The company is divided into two completely separate sections – the one for human food and the one for wild bird feed. The human consumption brand names itself Being Proud of Bulgaria Products and produces hulled sunflower seeds for the bakery industry. The birdfood brand names itself savebird.
Both are situated in Kubrat, 50 km South-West of Ruse, Bulgaria. The headquarter is situated in Ruse itself.
