Ferrous Gluconate
It is yellow and gray powder.
It is odorless and subsaline. Its molecular formular is C12H22FeO14•2H2O and molecular weight is 482.
As food additive, the adding amount of Ferrous Gluconate: 200-400mg in cereal and cereal product, 80-160mg in beverage, 400-800mg in dairy product and nurseling food, 4800-6000mg in table salt and bonbon.
It also conforms with the requirements of FCC IV, USP28 and BP 98
